REVOTT atop GDELT

Two maps composed. REVOTT sends a position to a date; GDELT says what that day carried. Hold Y, run X over the 400 SFO-BB node values, read the field at each.

TNLDY = 14160 + 100·(Y + X)   ·   date = 1969-11-07T11:28:41.739Z + TNLDY days
numerator = events GDELT recorded that day  ·  denominator = what that day would normally carry (local level × weekday × season)

GDELT daily event volume, with the 400 node positions marked

Log scale. Orange ticks are where REVOTT places its nodes at this Y. Red bands are days GDELT never published — never read as zero.

Each node's reading — numerator ÷ denominator

Ordered along X. Above the midline the day carried more than it normally would; below, less. Log scale, so equal distances are equal factors.

The field runs —. The path spans 36,000 days, so no Y places all 400 nodes inside it. A ratio is a reading, not a result: ranks come from the sweep, and there are no p-values in this work.
From 2013-04-01, a node in either chart opens that day's top sources when clicked, and so does its date in the table below — both lead to nth-member/gdelt. Earlier dates carry counts but no URLs: GDELT's pre-2013 archives have no link column at all.
